POCO is now an independent brand WHY??

poco is now an independent brand

Finally, at the starting of 2020, we have heard wonderful news from POCO, the Xiaomi sub-brand. When poco launch Pocophone F1 it amazed the whole world by giving lots of features in a small budget. Poco F1 can easily compete with flagship mobiles. Fans of Poco will be happy by listening to the news announced on 17th January 2020 that the poco is now an independent company. This means we can start to predict that new Poco smartphone.
As just like Redmi now Poco is also independent. Xiaomi shared a media released with Android Authority announcing Poco's new identity. Xiaomi has also said that now Poco will run its own team and go to market strategy.

Q) Why Poco has grown into own standalone identity from the sub-brand of  Xiaomi?

In a short span of time Poco 1 has become an extremely popular phone across user group and its demand is increasing day by and it also gets a contender in its category even in 2020. So Xiaomi feels the right time to let Poco operate on its own now. Xiaomi VP and India MD, Manu Kumar Jain said in the email about the separation of  Poco from Xiaomi.
We have tried to collect more classification regarding this decision but it looks the company is not ready to share any more information now. The announcement was done by the current Poco Global Head Alvin Tse on twitter.

Tse is also the General manager of Xiaomi Indonesia and it is also unclear that he will continue to head Poco or not.
All we know that Poco is no longer with Xiaomi from the announcement of 17 Jan. Will both companies continue sharing their design and research resources as just like Redmi? We expect to hear more information in the upcoming days.

Xiaomi is proving to be a very popular brand in India for the last few years, 4 out of 5 best-selling smartphones in India in the second quarter of 2018 is a real proof of Xiaomi. This popularity of Xiaomi could not continue in the flagship segment, due to which, since last year, the company has so far launched only 2 smartphones worth more than about 20,000 rupees, which may not be popular.
Shockingly, Xiaomi has given the best specification here at a very affordable price, but as usual, Xiaomi has paid little attention in terms of design. The entire body of Poco F1 is made of plastic, due to which the device does not give a premium look which is found in a glass body or metal body phone.
Xiaomi Poco F1 has a 6.18-inch 18.7: 9 aspect ratio display. The IPS LCD panel has a resolution of 1080 × 2246 pixels, contrast ratio of 1500: 1 and is capable of providing brightness up to 500nits. Xiaomi has also given Gorilla Glass 3 protection here to make it durable.
